Hey all. Just wanted to bring this to your guys's attention. I'm a part of this Star Wars production (Live action, quasi-theatre/stunt group) called Balance of Power. So far there have been 2 episodes, and we are currently working on Episode 3.
Again, this is a LIVE performance. No stops, no effects, no wires, no help of any kind. Just a buncha people with some swordfighting and acrobatic skills putting them to use.

Mon, January 14, 2008 - 1:38 PMWe perform at whatever Conventions and theatres that will have us. We're based out of California, and unfortunately, there are litterally NO funds to go anywhere else. The costumes, sabers, music, venue 'rental,' transportation, and (sometimes) medical costs, ALL come out of our pockets. So it's kinda difficult to travel with it. So if you're not in Cali, sad to say you'd have to drag your ass out here.
But i'm glad you like it. Tell your friends about it. Hopefully with enough fanbase, and the right people watching our vids, we may be able to get a sponsorship/extra side cash :P -

Actually, we learned that Lucas himself would be at BayCon as a guest speaker, which means that he'd have access to everything going on IN the Con. Unfortunately, we're not nearly ready for May 08. Which is sad :(
