I was discussing Buddhism witha friend once, and she was talking about how the attachment to material possessions is bad for the soul. I looked at her and said "You must train yourself to let go of that which you fear to lose." She said that was it exactly!
Another time at a poker game I asked the guy next to me how many guns he counted, and he responded appropriately with about 20 guns, some on the surface and some on the towers. We kept the battle dialogue going for a while, which made some of the other players wonder what the hell we were talking about...
My favorite was when I was at Safeway, and the checker, who must say it about a million times a day, said "club card did you?" I bobbed my head and said "Club card I did, yes, mmmmmm!"
